Government proposals to prevent people from reselling tickets online to sporting and cultural events have been condemned by auction site eBay.
The government has rules out legislation to govern the ’secondary market’ of reselling tickets, but wants to introduce a voluntary code of conduct instead to ensure tickets go to fans rather than ticket touts.
