Why I’m not a SEO Guru?
Yes, I’m not a SEO guru.
Last week, I had a discussion with one of my collegue. We were discussing about so-called SEO Gurus. I was showing her some common observations on SEO Gurus.
I’m quite active in some SEO forums, where a number of members claim themselves as SEO guru. Their most common signature link says ’seo secrets’, ‘how to earn money’, ‘adsense secrets’ ….. etc. If you search their posts, they are definitely asking - ‘I’m not getting enough traffic’, ‘why no traffic’, ‘give me some seo tips’ etc. If you don’t know how to improve your own website performance, then how can you improve others website! Oh come on - stop pretending!
Next type comes, SEO firms - always talks about PPC, Adwords etc to clients - never tell secrets of onpage or offpage seo for their website. 2 weeks back, I posted an article on this type of SEO firms.
Now, lets talk about well-known SEO bloggers. If you follow their blog, You will find no SEO articles, but current affairs. If I need news, why should I visit your website - what’s wrong with News websites! Moreover, in every few months they will post their adsense cheques and tells you the secret for $10 - hahhahaha.
And the discussion went on and on. However, at the end - I bet her that I’ll be in the first page of Google’s 1st page for ‘SEO Guru’ keyword. Already, I’m at number 10 in Google.co.uk.

you right hasan. just like me. i’m not an seo experts but what i wrote in my blog most about SEO tips. i just write what i read.
but few months from now, i hope i can be an expert for this one. one of the way that i should do is read your blog.

Hi Hasan,
Nice post but I don’t think sharing knowledge makes blogger pretend himself/herself as an SEO Guru. The one who think they are Guru is newbie to SEO. No one is Guru in SEO, because SE algorithm always keeps on changing and no one can control it.
Though, if someone is guru now, s/he wont remain tomorrow as soon as algorithm updates!
