My way to “Pass with Distinction” in MSc in “Information Systems Development”

Almost 3 years ago, I landed to United Kingdom with great hope – but didn’t took long to vanish all my dream. However, I will talk about that later – some other time – lets talk about today’s story.

Today, I’ve received my official document from London Metropolitan University, comfirming that I’m rewarded with “Pass with Distinction” in my MSc in Information Systems Development (ISD). Great News!

I just want to thank some people directly involved with my achievement for last three years. Firstly, my parents, they always said, no matter whatever you have in your life, you need to study and reach your destination – don’t worry about money, don’t worry about us – just study. Thanks to my mother, father, brother, Jillur Hasan (last year of his MBBS), sister Ismat Ara Jahan(3rd year of her BDS – Bachelor in Dental Surgery).

When I landed in London, I was looking for job, was passing my days in real misery and sorrow – Qazafi Raza employed me as Office Assistant and Web Developer in his Company, IN Estates Limited – thanks to him. It was a nice time.

Then I met Tamara Walker – great lady, one of the most influential character in my London life – thanks for her – today I’m in such great situation. I joined in TV Business Lounge on her invitation where I met Valerie Campbell, Debrah Patterson – everyone supported me in my evey steps.

Then TV Business Lounge joined FE Samuels, where I got infinite support from Jacob Fonderson, Emile Fonderson, George Georgiou, Huguette Marsicano, Taji and others. I still remember that day – when Jacob gave me 1 month salary as bonus on scoring 98 in one subject in my first semester. I guess I won’t ever forget that. I should also thank to Carole, Felix, Jin, Maite, Anna, Maike, Daae, Angelic, Sarah, Sina, Sylvia, Laia, Noemie – I can remember all the names – sorry guys!

In my house in UK, Nirma really took care of me – I can’t repay whatever she had done for me. Thanks to her. I also want to say thanks to my present and past housemates, friends and well-wishers – Hansnii, Shatil ( I came to London with him), Vanisha, Vimi, Shahed, Jahed, Shihab, Arif, Dayem, Munna Bhai, Tapan, Safi, Anis, Maruf, Aukhjee, Iliyana, Darren, Faheem etc.

I should also thank to my friends from Rangpur Cadet College – they are been my friends for last 15 years. Sorry friends, I can’t write all your names – total 54 names … ! I must thank to Tithi, Lubna, Shams, Reza, Sumon Bhai, Sujon Bhai, hassan mahmud.

I’m preparing for next step in my life and I always believe that I can’t succeed without others’ support. Hopefully everyone will continue their support in coming future. THANKS to EVERYONE again.
