To beat internet advertising leader Google, Microsoft’s latest effort pubCenter Beta is now open for public according to according to pubCenter blog. At the moment on US citizen with valid tax ID and address can use the service compared with Google Adsense.
As a contextual advertising program, Microsoft PubCenter will be offering websites an opportunity to display ads coming from Microsoft’s online advertising networks. There is no cost for publishers to join adCenter Publisher, provided they meet the adCenter Publisher guidelines for participation. Payments are issued either when ads are clicked or for the number of gross impressions the ads generate on the publisher’s site. There are no restrictions on how big or small a Web site can be, but publishers must have and administer a site to participate.
