Here Come Another Poor Microsoft's Laptop Haunters AdIn the 4th edition of Microsoft’s Laptop Haunters ad campaign, Microsoft has paid money to Sheila to buy a laptop under $2000 and as usual she chose a PC and this time she chose HP laptop.

I don’t understand why all this actors or so-called real-life characters ask silly questions all the time. According to Sheila, she need a fast processor, large screen to CUT video. I was excepting some professional questions when you are dealing with graphics or video editing. But surprisingly she asked one of the silliest question I’ve ever read from a video editing personnel. One moment her conversation was like following:

“Is this graphics card going to be powerful?”
“Mmhm.”
“Wow.”

What a dumb question!

Do you have any idea about graphics card? Why you are not concern about configuration? Ask him is it … 512MB Video RAM or 1GB Video RAM or more. I’m a PC user because of one reason – because it’s cheap and I can’t afford a Mac. But I (and everyone) consider Mac is better for graphics editing. With $2,000 Sheila would have easily chose Mac for performance, security and graphics rather she went just for configuration.

As Microsoft’s point of view, it’s really helpful for mass population that they can afford PC in lower price than a Mac. But instead of describing PC’s different better features, Microsoft is just focusing on it’s lower price in their campaign. That’s the main difference between Mac’s Get A Mac advertisement campaign where Mac try to focus on it’s features.
