It was almost half-past eight when I reached home from office yesterday. I was checking all the letters I received and found the envelop I was awaiting for – payment for Google Adsense. According to Adsense Payment Details cheque was issued on 20th Febuary but it took almost 11 days to arrive … anyway, I got it finally!
It’s not a big amount – at least not as big as last one, that was about £349. That was my biggest Adsense cheque of all time. However, this cheque is about £280.97. Income is low this time – I’ve been busy with my full time job – almost 2 months I’ve ignored my websites. Good thing is they are still making money!

The web is full of duplicate content. Search engines try to index and display the original or “canonical” version. Searchers only want to see one version in results. Multiple URLs, one page
Duplicate content comes in different forms, but a major scenario is multiple URLs that point to the same page. This can come up for lots of reasons. An ecommerce site might allow various sort orders for a page (by lowest price, highest rated…), the marketing department might want tracking codes added to URLs for analytics. You could end up with 100 pages, but 10 URLs for each page. Suddenly search engines have to sort through 1,000 URLs.
